(Around this time Open Family was running a series of ads called "Roo Cull" in which street kids were hunted by men in 4WDs and shot at the end of alleys. There was footage of very scary looking Siberian Huskies and the kids the ad were seriously in danger of being licked to death by these overly happy canines.
